Since its completion in 1987, the Jacksonville Landing has remained pivotal in the revitalization of this bustling city’s core. More than 300 events are held at this shopping and dining complex throughout the year, perhaps none as popular as the Friday Farmers Market, held every Friday from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Opened since 2010, this buzzing marketplace serves as the center of the city’s local food sourcing. A huge hit with patrons, the Friday Farmers Market averages more than 40 vendors per week, showcasing a variety of produce, artisan crafts, baked goods, and more. Rain or shine, hundreds of visitors make their way to The Landing each week to check out the vast offerings, ranging from pottery and plants to jewelry and heirlooms.
Whether you’re looking for that special item or just wasting away the day, visitors will find plenty to see and do while exploring The Landing’s vast offerings. Looking for fresh bread, barbecue ribs, or fresh granola? You’ll find all that and more while meandering these quarters, so be sure to come with an open mind and an eager appetite.
From week to week, vendors and shoppers gather weekly to sift through the fresh and specially made goods. Check out the full selection in the Market area on the first floor of The Jacksonville Landing. Afterward, when you’re ready to call it a day, this year-round complex provides plenty to see and do, including weekly entertainment, holiday celebrations, and live music.
