It’s the neighborly thing to shop local these days, but what about listening local? Well, if you’re got an inkling for live music straight from the backyard of Jacksonville, the First Coast Music Fest – Summer Edition concert is right up your alley. This summer, for one day only, celebrate with the city and attend the First Coast Music Fest- Summer Edition featuring Jacksonville’s most prominent local musicians. On June 1, 2013 local venues like 1904 and Underbelly are opening their doors for musical prodigies including Sunbears!, Grandpa’s Cough Medicine, Mama Blue, Fusebox Funk, DANKA, Black Drum and more. It’s about time Jacksonville’s music scene saw recognition – get the chance to see up and coming acts with all your friends at local venues throughout downtown Jacksonville. Featuring three stages and a whole lot of fun, the First Concert Music Fest – Summer Edition will light up your summer calendar. Doors open at noon and don’t shut down until 1:30am.
